ABOUT SIMPLYDYLICIOUS
A personal baking journal about experiments, hometown flavours and learning to make beautiful things without pretending the process is always beautiful.
HELLO, I’M DYLAN
I grew up surrounded by a culture that lives and breathes food. My earliest memories are wrapped in the aroma of freshly baked Vietnamese baguettes from the neighbourhood bakery and the sweet scent of coconut milk and pandan juice from my mum’s signature rau câu.
When I started baking, I wanted a way to document the experiments, triumphs and occasional kitchen disasters — while honouring the flavours of my hometown and trying out new things.
Here, you’ll find meticulous recipes, reflective journal entries on the baking process and deep dives into the best food spots around.
WHAT YOU’LL FIND HERE

WHY SIMPLYDYLICOUS
The name holds both sides of this journal: the simple pleasure of sharing something good, and the delight of getting lost in the details.
I’m not here to perform perfection. I’m here to make, taste, learn and leave useful notes for the next person who wants to try.
Occasional emails from Dylan’s kitchen. No noise — just the useful and delicious bits.
