The Counter Seat with the Best View of the Kitchen

Table of Contents

The best seat was not beside the window. It was at the counter, where we could watch pans move across the flame and plates leave the kitchen one after another.

The menu was compact, which made ordering easy. We shared noodles, a bright vegetable dish and something smoky from the grill. The flavours were confident without becoming heavy, and the relaxed service matched the room. I would return for the counter seat alone, but next time I would leave more space for dessert.
